This is a common scam done by insurance agencies who offer travel insurance who say that older people are more at risk so they have to pay up higher premiums. This is age discrimination but is supported by facts for it may be true that a rowdy teenager can be more of a risk due to their nature, seniors are more likely to end up in the nearest hospital due to age related conditions. There are laws governing such acts and the hike if there should be any, must conform with government approved levels so do watch out for these scams and report the to your nearest government office.
