Travel Insurance Qualifications
![]()
As with other forms of insurance, travel agencies and the insurance companies they affiliate and represent do have certain rules for one to get qualified for travel insurance. One may be the age bracket, for they might decline coverage of someone who is over a certain age which is usually 65 to 70. Next is physical condition, which can have one defaulted of coverage if the insured individual failed to declare a certain illness during the application process. Illness might also discourage them from accepting an application for someone with heart disease or carries communicable disease may be denied coverage. These conditions may seem harsh and illegal but they are applied so check with a health officer first or get the opinion of your doctor before planning any travel plans especially if you have any of the above mentioned medical conditions.
